The companies were founded in 2001 and 2007. The first solutions were for parking lot management and ferry port facilities.
In the first years, customers quickly joined and the check-in solutions were further developed for more customer segments, such as recycling centers.
Odense, Vejle, Næstved, Kolding, Fredericia, Randers, Silkeborg, Køge, Aalborg and private customers get systems set up with card readers and ANPR (Automatic Numberplate Recognition).
First check-in solution is delivered outside Scandinavia, while a joint venture is established with Austrian Kapsch.
The development of special solutions is expanded to include hotel and boat parking, boom systems, zoned parking, discount systems with vouchers.

Because we were originally two separate companies that have now become one unified and stronger company, we have found a new name - DOPAGO and we are called that because we are a bunch of DO'ers who create traffic management solutions that involve payment (PAy) or (PArking), registration and traffic (GO).
