Aalborg Airport puts new and modern parking system into operation

On April 1, Aalborg Airport's new parking system from Payvend (now Dopago) went live.

The airport will now have the opportunity to improve their parking product for business and private customers, while focusing on creating a green parking experience for their customers.

The system is the first of its kind in Denmark and will help the airport improve revenue and allow for a more data-driven approach to parking.

"We are proud that the system has run without teething problems for the first 3 days" says project manager Johnny Worum. The expectation is that the new system will result in far fewer calls to operations in the future, so the focus will be on an improved customer experience at Aalborg Airport
